Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne alongside three other siblings. Angela Gossow was seventeen when her parents split up. As their business fell apart and she was left with financial issues. Being bulimic and anorexic made her a victim. Gossow, who was ARCH ENIY's lead singer at the time, stated that she was deciding to quit the band. When I started in 1991, I was just beginning my professional career. I realized that it was not fun to live a nomadic life. Instead of pretending I quit, I decided to stop. The original frontman of the group Johan Liiva was replaced in 2000 by German singer Angela Gossow. John Farnham's song from 1986, You're the Voice was extremely popular in Australia, Ireland and UK.
