Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez (born September 9, 1965)[1] is an American actor from America. She is most famous for her roles in the film Selena as Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007), and Marcela Quintanilla (mother of Selena) in the film Selena (1997). She played Regina Vasquez in the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-2017). She is currently playing Camila Diaz on Amazon Prime Video's drama series Undone (2019). Marie started her acting career when she was in her teens. Salsa, 1988, was her debut film. Other credits on television and film include Early Edition (dirty dancing), Dirty Dancing (selena), Spin City (ally Mcbeal) and Selena (spin city). Marie was selected to play Angie Lopez on the ABC comedy series George Lopez. In 2001, Marie starred in the comedy-drama film Tortilla Soup alongside Hector Elizondo, Jacqueline Obradors, and Elizabeth Pena. Also, she appeared on the PBS drama series American Family. She launched her clothing line "The Constance Marie" in October 2007. 2. In the same year, she appeared in an ad for PETA in which she urged people to neuter and spay their pet. Between 2011 and the year 2017, Marie was a major character in the drama series ABC Family/Freeform Switched at Birth, portraying Regina Vasquez, the birth mother of one of the girls as well as the legal mother of the other.
